So while most of us are sitting at home destroying a 20 piece from Buffalo Wild Wings, our nation’s finest are sweating it out in the sands of California in an exercise called Mojave Viper.
These kinds of combined arms excersies generally a prereq for a unit to deploy.
The newer Marines develop crucial skill sets that will be employed daily overseas, while veteran Marines get to refine their leadership skills. At 30 days, Mojave Viper is no cake walk. The sun and sand near 29 Palms can be overwhelming. Throw in a 2-5hr long ride in an AAV and you have the framework for a shity day. Nothing is too tough for our nations best war fighters though. God bless
