Grey Is The New Black!

Grey Ant 1This past summer, half part due to the recession and half due to fashion’s ever revolving fickle nature, the 80′s look was everywhere. From acid wash jeans, bright neon pullovers to skinny jeans with off the shoulder tops, fashion re-embraced the look of the 80′s. It has often been said that the 80′s was ahead of it’s time. With that being said it is no surprise that this past summers “it” glasses were the black Ray Ban RB2151 Wayfarer Square’s, but like all things popular this trend saw its demise in the form of over exposure. However all hope is not lost thanks to Los Angeles based clothing brand Grey Ant, and their spin on the Ray Ban RB2151.

The Grey Ant Window Glasses are every fashion icon’s must have glasses for fall, and the fact that they are an over sized version of their predecessor the Ray Bans’, they are perfect for keeping the paparazzi’s flashes out of ones eye while out shopping on Robertson. Both the lens and frame are thicker than that of the Ray Ban’s which makes the Gray Ant’s darker, and more mysterious.

Many celebrities from Beyonce to Gwyneth consider them a major upgrade. After all, a vast majority of people take pride in showcasing what they possess. I personally look at them as a fashionable spoof. Both the men, and women that I know that own these stylish shades all have one thing in common; and that is the inner desire to be seen all while presenting a facade that says I don’t want to be bothered… and they owe it all to a fabulous pair of shades!

I agree. Grey also carries the same simplicity and sophistication of black.
