Hitler Controversy Re: Charlie Crist/Marco Rubio (VIDEO)

We’ve all seen them…those videos where people dub over a conversation that Hitler and his generals are having from the movie Downfall. Virtually every college kid is making one these days. Plain and simple, they’re mostly hilarious.

Well someone made one poking fun at Charlie Crist and there is a giant hissy fit going on.

You name the scenario and it’s been dubbed over the same scene from Downfall where Hitler gets angry with his Generals. From Old Miss college football to XBOX 360 scores, to the Kanye West/Taylor Swift incident, it’s been dubbed.

The point being is that there are tens, most likely hundreds, of these videos out there on YouTube. Naturally a controversy arises when politics is involved, but not until then. While the Holocaust and Hitler are not to be taken lightly, where do we draw the line on good natured humor with a clear comical precedent and distasteful? We think the politicians are just grandstanding and being out of touch (as is the norm).
