SEALs Who Captured Most Wanted Terrorist Face Assault Charges

The Fallujah Massacre
This from Fox News:
Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
So American Navy SEALs are facing a court martial for giving this murderous bastard bloody lip? This is justice? This is the war on terror?

If Ahmed Hashim Abed was protected by the Constitution as a sovereign citizen of the US then he would have valid argument. However, obviously he is not. Still, given the fact that the assault happened on foreign soil, then the act should be tried by the law of the land in question; there, it would be Islamic religious law. Regardless, law of the land always holds that murder is an offense punishable by death. The fact that the Seamen in question assaulted and not killed shows there disrespect for the law of the land and hints at their ill intentions. The only true hope they have to escape what is their rightful punishment that they would accept if they were gentlemen is that as military members they have enslaved themselves to a master and as such the master would be responsible for their crime. Now do you see why the government would try the Seamen? Sacrificial lamb anyone?

First of all Rob, they were Seals not seaman. In the Navy a seaman refers to a rank, a Seaman is an E-3 in the Navy and if I am not mistaken, they were all above the rank of E-3 at least Petty Officers. People like you are quick to belive the word of a scumbag before the word of 3 heros. There is no proof what so ever that they did this. For all we know he could have did it himself just to spite. It wold have been better to kill this man and say they were in a gun fight with him. There would have been no way to prove otherwise. It would have been what he deserves. If we went by the law of the land then the military would be required to participate in stoning. Which under islamic law is the law of the land.
I have to be honest, if I was one of the seals this man would never have been seen again. These men should be given medals for bringing in this scumbag in one peice not tried for a fat lip.

This is the virus of political correctness infecting even the military.
