The Holidays are About The Times We Can’t Have or Take Back

Written by ParcLIVE! on November 28, 2009

You rarely read a story in which real life takes the twists where fiction failed when it came to believability. A tragedy that only gets worse, checks off all stereotypical dramatic shockers along the way, and hints at a kind of horror that introduces a new level of sobriety to the holidays.

It is a universal shame when they come in twos. A superstitious fear that they come in threes. But overall a reason to give thanks. For a country that is still the greatest nation on earth. For families and friends that demand our integrity and deserve our devotion. And for the humanity that brings all of us together in the wake of another’s grief.

Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and souls of John Jones and The Sitton/Patrick Family. [both articles courtesy of The AP]

BUT We still need to find Paul Michael Merhige!

Respect for his colleagues at News Channel 5. Video of Jim Sitton’s address HERE [WARNING: it's emotionally raw]

Please Pass This On. If Everyone Knows His Face He Can’t Get Far.
