MUST HAVE CAVIAR! Let’s Hit Up The Soup Kitchen…

Thanks to a $1,100 tin of caviar that was donated to the advocacy group, Broadway Community, the needy can look forward to a gourmet 7 course meal (complete with $73 worth of caviar per person). Does anyone else think caviar tastes kinda fishy? Where does a person have to go for a straight up old fashioned spare rib sandwich?

    why wouldn't they sell the caviar? do you know how far $1,100 can go? how much goddamn rice it can buy!!?

    The caviar was donated to a soup kitchen that has a reputation for preparing fresh, nutritious food. It is wrong to sell donated food — caviar or rice.

      it is wrong for people to starve in America where hamburgers are 60 cents and abortions are free. this is the greatest country on earth, i'm sure there's room for a debate over donation etiquette. but it's a rather inarguable point that 1,100 dollars for a one evening's side dish at a dinner for the poor is a tad ridiculous. we don't have the luxury to adhere to protocol in the strictest way possible with 16 thousand homeless children in New York City alone.
