Not Even Half a Man

Written by Brooke Musterman on December 30, 2009

charlie-sheen-brooke-muelle“My husband had me with a knife. I was afraid for my life, and he threatened me,” Brooke Mueller, 32, told the operator.

Unfortunately area operators are used to these sorts of calls when Charlie Sheen is around. In fact, none of Sheen’s wives are any strangers to domestic violence, the most recent incident occurring on Christmas day.

Apparently, Mueller told Sheen that she wanted a divorce. Instead of wooing her to stay, Sheen attacked her by holding her down on the bed with a knife against her throat. Way to make a girl want to stay, Charlie.

She told the officers that he threatened to have her killed, and only released her when she apologized and told him she loved him.

Sheen, who does admit to arguing with his wife, denies the accusations. He was arrested and charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor. He later admitted to having a knife, but only after police found one in an open position in his bag.

Sheen spokesman Stan Rosenfeld cautioned against jumping to conclusions.

“Do not be misled by appearance,” he said. “Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day.”

He ‘s right. Charlie Sheen may seem dreamy, but to the women who have known and loved him, he has been more like a nightmare.

Longtime actor, Sheen has had quite a history of abuse, which is probably why Mueller was insistent on filing a police report. She reportedly told the operator that even though she was past imminent danger, “I gotta file this report,” Mueller is heard saying several times.

In December 1996, Sheen was arrested for attacking ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashfield at his home in Southern California. He pleaded guilty in 1997 and was placed on two years’ probation.

Ex-wife, Denise Richards filed a sworn declaration in the Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that Sheen assaulted her and threatened her life during a December 2005 altercation at her home. She claims that while visiting with the couple’s two children, Sheen called her a series of vulgar names and shoved her to the ground in front of their children.

She also accuses him of being addicted to pornography and having a gambling problem….Sounds like a real winner.

He was released on $8,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court February 8.

This is another case of the dreaded TRDATMAS syndrome. (The Rules Don't Apply To My Awesome Self)

This epidemic is affecting football players and golfers as well as Hollywood celebrities.
