NEW Wikipedia Fact Inspired By Soon To Be Mobbed Referee
Written by Miranda Sullivan on June 18, 2010
So for those of you who are living under sport-proof rocks, USA scored a third goal winning the match against Slovenia today only to have it be stricken from the record for – no reason. In fact, no one knows why the ref threw away the game-winning world cup-changing goal, but EVERYONE is pissed. So much so that a new fact was born. Fact because, as we’ve all come to understand, Wikipedia is truth. You cite it for anything and everything and NO ONE argues with Wikipedia. Online trolling debates that teetered on the brink of mass suicide are suddenly silent, skeptics converted, points tallied, parent’s basement evacuated. Urban legend suggests that its archives are actually transcribed from the word of G-d, except that Wikipedia accepts no G-d, but contradictions are also fact in Wiki-land.
Today’s fact of the day: Mali is no longer everyone’s favorite vacation spot, unless that vacation includes ebay won anthrax and the address of a Mr. Koman Couilibaly. Yeah Koman, Google Satellite’s gotcha baby!
