Juan-Carlos Cruz To Be Plea Bargained?
Written by Ryan Anthony on July 20, 2010
Suicide by cop is one thing, but suicide by deranged pastry chef is another. So says the judge in charge of the Juan-Carlos Cruz case, who – in a development brought to us by TMZ on Monday – may allow the “Calorie Commando” to plea bargain after his May arrest in which he hired three homeless guys to off his wife with boxcutters.
From the looks of things, his wife – Los Angeles attorney Jennifer Campbell – didn’t want to off herself . . . well, herself. Suicide is a mortal sin in the Catholic faith – and for that matter, in mainstream Christianity as well.
So, during a particularly nasty bout of depression on her part, Juan decided that the best course of action was to put on the shoes of Osama bin Laden, the pants of Jack Kevorkian, and the mullet of that guy who gets arrested for paying an undercover hitman.
No word on whether he could have dealt his way out of that one with the Almighty.
