by: ParcPicks

by Heather Bachman
Couldn’t he had just have given us a pen set?
Think back to the election of President Obama. What do you see? Young faces of hope and excitement, signs declaring “Change” for America. Readiness for a new beginning for the nation and day one for many who were preparing to enter the real world [...]

Bluest State Goes Brown

Bluest State Goes Brown

It’s been called the next shot heard around the world, the transformation of the bluest of blue states into a new shade of Brown and a political tsunami – just to name a few. The victory of Senator-elect Scott Brown in Massachusetts should have been a wake-up call to the Obama administration that even in [...]

Hillary Goes Weak-Kneed On Iran Sanctions

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

A squishy, misguided, weak-kneed liberalism has emerged in Hillary Clinton’s comments about the kind of sanctions that would work best in halting Iran’s nuclear program.  Rather than take the one step that would really be effective – cutting off the flow of refined gasoline to Iran – she instead insists [...]

Is this the Peoples’ Candidate from New York?

Is this the Peoples’ Candidate from New York?

With Rudy Giuliani already having declared that he won’t run for a New York Senate seat and no clear choice Republican alternative, the brainstorming has begun about who would offer New Yorkers a viable alternative to the Democratic Party.
Perhaps the most intriguing name to emerge is former banker and current CNBC host, Larry Kudlow.  Kudlow [...]

Ron Paul's Campaign for Lunacy

Just when you thought he couldn’t possibly test the limits of rational Americans any further, Ron Paul comes out with yet another absurd and treacherous statement — this time advising his followers at a Campaign for Liberty event in Atlanta that “the CIA must be taken out”. The Congressman’s latest in a series of harmful [...]

Youth and the Massachusetts Vote

Youth and the Massachusetts Vote

Only 14 months ago, 48% of young people in Massachusetts voted in the Presidential election. Of them, 78% cast their ballots for Barack Obama. In contrast, in this week’s special election for U.S. Senate, a Rasmussen Reports survey on election night indicated that Democrat Martha Coakley won the youth demographic with 58% of the vote – a full [...]

Obama the Destroyer

As published on Forbes 21 January 2010
The president’s latest proposal will lose taxpayers billions of dollars.
After Republican Scott Brown’s upset victory over Democrat Martha Coakley for the Massachusetts Senate seat long held by Ted Kennedy, President Barack Obama is starting his second year in the White House swinging. So far, he’s taking aim at his [...]

Yes We Did!

Yes We Did!

The title of my post comes from a popular Facebook profile photo that began showing up everywhere in the exhilarating aftermath of Scott Brown’s incredible victory last night. Along with many other South Florida conservative activists, I cheered the election returns at Wings Plus in Coral Springs, where we took over an entire room and [...]

Obama Spends Afternoon Making Shadow Puppets

On at 6:29 am

Satire from The Endive…
President Obama marked the conclusion of his first year as President today by spending the entire afternoon in his office, making shadow puppets.
“What I have made here, well, I guess it’s a dog,” said the President to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs, both of [...]

Obama’s Kiss of Death

On January 19, 2010 at 7:32 am

Obama’s Kiss of Death

Congratulations to Democratic Senatorial Candidate Coakley, the latest recipient of the Obama’s Kiss of Death. President Obama appeared at a lackluster event in Boston where the room with a meager 3000 person capacity couldn’t even be filled, something the almost never happens for a Presidential appearance. He then proceeded to spend the majority of his time trashing Coakley’s opponent in between shouted downs by anti abortion protesters. The result was nothing short of a complete blowout.

The Haitian Disaster and the Lunatic Fringe

On January 18, 2010 at 12:08 pm

In the wake of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that devastated Haiti, the government and people of the United States responded just as we always do when a natural or man-made disaster strikes anywhere in the world: we summoned every resource at our disposal to render aid and comfort to those in need. Within hours [...]

Haiti Relief

Ironically, in a move modeled after Bush, Obama has turned to his two predecessors to do the job. The fact that this is probably the wisest move he will ever make, notwithstanding; it’s most curious, considering his response to Bush’s Hurricane Katrina. Maybe he feels he is being charitable, or maybe it is a move [...]

Pelosi vs Lugosi 2010

On at 9:16 am

The class warfare struggles of today differ so greatly than the Bourgeois versus the Proletariat dynamic of 1840s Europe that grew out the era of Serfdom and Fiefdom. We are seeing the evolution of a conflict between those that provide tax revenue and those who consume it. The tax consumption class is being lead by [...]
