Does Obama’s Religion Matter?
On August 26, 2010 at 8:00 am
A recent Pew Research poll found that 18% of Americans believe Barack Obama is a Muslim, 34% believe he is a Christian and 43% simply don’t know what the President’s religion is. The poll’s focus – and that of its media examiners – has been the increase in the number of Americans that now view [...]
The 9-11 Mosque: Wrong Flags Raised and Wrong Rights Debated
On at 7:53 am
When the Mosque was first announced, it was a blip on the television. Aside from some conservative groups and tea party members, even the rally was lacking publicity despite taking place right where most mainstream media has their central headquarters. Now that it has been approved, people are screaming and the media responds. The first [...]
Rod Blagojevich: First Comic-Con, Then FNS
On August 23, 2010 at 11:07 am
The misadventures of Illinois wheeler-and-dealer Rod Blagojevich, meriting a Saturday (8/21) booth at Chicago’s Comic-Con, could allow him to make a living screwing people once more – according to his carefully selected words on Fox News Sunday. Blago, who charged people $50 for autographs and $80 for photos, tried to brush his image off during [...]
Cordoba Intolerant: The 9-11 Mosque
On August 13, 2010 at 12:29 pmLast week the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission voted unanimously against granting landmark status to the former Burlington Coat Factory Building, paving the way not only for its demolition but for the erection of an Islamic “community center” in its place. This location, near the site of the 9/11 attacks, is also where an [...]
The Swamp Thing Lives: Charlie Rangel and the Reality of Capitol Hill
On at 12:23 pmThe swamp has not been drained and the culture of corruption is alive and well on Capitol Hill. This week not one but two, long time Democrat members of the U.S. House of Representatives were charged with ethics violations by the House Ethics Committee. Representative Charlie Rangel of New York was charged with 13 ethics [...]
Judge Walker will be Overturned: The Reality of Proposition 8
On at 12:21 pmProposition 8, an initiative that defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman, and which was passed by California voters, was recently held unconstitutional by a homosexual judge in the most overturned Circuit in the country. In Judge Walker’s order, he laments that one plaintiff said he wants to marry his homosexual [...]
Stop Straddling the Fence
On at 12:15 pmIn what may be the most transparent example of liberal jurisprudence in recent years, Judge Susan Bolton has struck down key provisions of the “controversial” (to whom, one wonders) Arizona immigration law SB 1070. Apparently, Bolton is concerned that putting convicts in prison tends to increase “police surveillance” of them, and that allowing such a [...]
The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act: A salve for the wounds pro-lifers incurred during the healthcare debate
On at 12:12 pmThe wounds that resulted from the back-stabbing pro-life republicans received from Representative Bart Stupak and Senator Ben Nelson during the healthcare debate are, no doubt, still healing, and one must wonder if they’re reopened every time the Obama Administration approves a taxpayer funded high-risk insurance pool that can be used to pay for abortions. Stupak’s [...]
Why the Denial of Kagan is so important: Do We Want Another Obama?
On at 12:10 pmThe bottom line, however you want to look at it, to Obama’s selection for Supreme Court is that it has been made for his power only. Finally, he has found a place where he can affect the nation without any challenging re-elections. Not only has he found a perosn that reflects all of his views [...]
The Liberal Invisibility Epidemic and What Election Day Should Begin
On August 3, 2010 at 9:18 pmThere is an illness infecting our current legislative majority. It has helped them push legislation such as ObamaCare and threaten the future of our citizens without worrying about any aftermaths. You see it when you hear Pelosi say she does not fear 2010’s election and Obama say he has created legislation that has actually assisted [...]
The Endive: Greene – I Like to Color
On July 30, 2010 at 7:27 am
Humor from The Endive… Alvin Greene, the surprise Democratic Senate candidate from South Carolina, declared his love for crayons in a rare press conference today as he spoke to reporters gathered in his basement. “I like to color,” said Greene, “With Crayons.” Greene became a little agitated when pressed for more details about his passion [...]
What Rangel Means to What Needs to be done in Congress
On July 28, 2010 at 7:00 amCharlie Rangel is a wakeup call to the legislature and the nation. The legislature because they see that even with decades behind you, charges will incur and your legacy may not survive; the nation sees that we are seeing why influxes of groups. While some editorial associates of mine coin Representative Charlie Rangel as things [...]
Bridging the Gulf…Or Not
On July 26, 2010 at 6:52 amPresident Barack Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm) has apparently noticed a fly that needs swatting in Florida and decided that he needs to visit there this August. I mention the fly because President Obama spent more time and effort, and showed more emotion, focusing on how to squash that particular interfering insect than he ever [...]
Crist Deal Not as Sweet as Planned, and the Tea Party is Reacting
On at 6:49 amRecently, Floridian Tea Parties are fighting against a recent deal made by Governor and current Independent Candidate Charlie Crist between the state and a Sugar Company that was supposedly made for preserving the State’s Everglades. The Tea Party response: This deal is not preserving anything but the profit of the Sugar Company and leaves the taxpayer [...]
55% of America Say Obama is a Socialist
On July 22, 2010 at 8:24 amIn a stunning press release from Democracy Corps, the polling firm attached to such high profile figures as James Carville, it was recently unveiled that 55% of likely voters think the word “socialist” is an accurate term to use when describing President Barack Hussein Obama. Naturally, this result has caused a flurry in the political [...]
Begging For Relevance
On July 14, 2010 at 1:59 pm
I can’t help but wonder if I have been fooled again by another one of the NAACP’s publicity stunts. I am convinced that these so-called civil rights leaders get on their knees and pray every night that racism will always exist in the United States.
