Whenever the issue of illegal immigration enters the mainstream media, this has and will continue to be a highly raised inquiry. With the recent reactions to Arizona’s newest immigration law, this question has been raised yet again. Not only is this legislation a response to a state’s own daily issues with the threat, Arizona’s government was also taking action for what is best for our country; nonetheless calls of racism and comparisons to the holocaust have been made in addition to this age old question:

When it comes to employment, are there jobs Americans don’t want to do?

To some, the thought of this question brings visions of people tilling acres and acres of farms. However, the jobs that are really being discussed through this are more mainstream and hence, not as risky or challenging. There are different jobs which are being filled by illegal aliens that Americans, especially young citizens, would in fact sign on for. From house painting to gardening, the issue of unemployment’s increase and its current effects on the nation, one has to wonder if this question really is an aspect of defending illegal immigration any more.

Statistics show 80.3% will graduate college this year without a job or to be blunter, 1 million will be jobless post graduation while only 20.7% of recent college graduates will graduate with a job this year. Further, with less recent past college graduates already fighting against CEO’s that are looking for work and have decades of experience, it is the youth that is majorly looking for the other jobs taken by illegal aliens.

What’s worse about this situation is they are the ones who are going to be paying for objectives such as ObamaCare and the student loan “Overhaul” which will have the government controlling many loans’ interest ratings. It has already been reported that while our government borrows at 2.9 percent interest, students will be paying their debt with 6.9 percent interest. Obviously, it is through any job that these students will pay this debt, but if employment is not available the results could be detrimental and will create a ripple effect in their future. The longer a person stays out of work, the worse it will be for them to be experienced for a job once it comes available and there is also a risk to their financial futures, which in turn affects the nation.

Even by being an option, illegal aliens are a risk to the youth’s employment future. The cost for the labor pool regarding the jobs illegal citizens go after has decreased incredibly as a result of illegal aliens just throwing their hat into the ring. Hence, not only are they taking the jobs but also decreasing the value of said jobs just because they are a hiring option.

It seems illegal immigration is very much a double edged sword when it comes to our employment agenda’s and nation’s future. Not only is there a weakening in our employment availability, but the value of such is decreased. Many wonder why President Obama, who stated he was for the youth throughout his entire campaign, doesn’t do something about this as it is his now former fan base. The same people who he needs to keep his job in 2012, that are most affected by this. Nonetheless, illegal immigration is a threat not only to our best educated citizens, but the nation as a whole.

In another carefully concealed plot to convince the rest of America that they hold an upper hand in education as well as legislation, the Kansas City school board has ok-d a vote that will effectively close over half of its schools. Their reasoning? Atleast their attempt at such claims dwindling enrollment as an excuse to group 6 year olds in the same building as seniors in high school. A move that has some parents worried not only about the quality of education but for safety as well.

If your restaurant stinks, next time you will go to another one right? Well right now there’s only one restaurant in education and it’s the government. We need more restaurants. It’s common sense.

Of course, a lot of the stuff that these celebrities endorse is just fluff that doesn’t accomplish much of anything. Will this be different?
