Today, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan put forth a proposal to ban D-I schools from post-season play based on graduation rates. According to the AP, Secretary Duncan’s proposal would bar any D-I school from playing in the post-season if they don’t graduate 40% of their players.
